A stiff upper lip? Traditional style...

One design style that will certainly never date (although some would argue that's because it is dated already) is those traditional rooms. Incorporating timber, classic colours and antique furniture, traditional rooms tend to feel a bit stiff at times, and maybe a little bit British.

Traditional is a very subjective term as well; a room I consider 'traditional' my mother would call 'contemporary' or maybe 'classic'.

What I love about this style is the use of many coordinating fabrics, warm colours and a general feeling of sumptuous. Here's a few of my favourite traditional spaces at the moment...
