Have a very merry Homemade Christmas...

As a follow up to my modern Christmas post I thought I'd share this lovely feature from Australian magazine Real Living, showing a very natural, simple and Australian Christmas.

I love the handmade elements, the Australian foliage and the scheme of red with timber. And this style of Christmas seems so perfectly suited to the North Queensland version of Christmas with sweltering hot days, seafood lunches and playing under the sprinkler. What do you think?
