Blue & Green Bedroom Finished (Kind of)!

After sharing my original inspiration here (peacock colours) and discussing the merits of green headboards here and spending months pinning blue and green bedrooms here I moved away from my rich jewel tones to some softer ones.

I've been working on a bunch of projects including making the headboard, finishing bedside tables, making pelmets, curtains and cushions.

So, following much swearing at my lack of ability to add piping to a cushion, tormet over the shades of green and blue I preferred, chasing the puppy from running muddy paw prints over the white cotton curtains and the evidence of my complete lack of upper body strength trying to hang the pelmets...the progress shots are revealed!

So, I still have to hang artwork (that black and white print is only temporary - I have another home in mind for it) and a few other things. Oh, and I'm still thinking of painting the walls a soft aqua.
