Modern Country Style

First of all, I want to say an enormous thank you to Natasha from 5 minutes just for me for hosting a giveaway of my Design Kits. It's been lots of fun!

And a very warm welcome to anyone popping over from Natasha's blog - don't forget you can get an extra entry by following me here and letting Natasha know!

So, I've found myself pinning a lot of rooms which I guess would be referred to as 'Modern Country' recently. To me, Modern Country is the perfect blend of styles which creates rooms which are warm, interesting and creative, yet still clean-lined and not too 'grandma-filled' (?!).

These rooms can be a little bit traditional, a little bit modern; combining rustic simplicity, with country elegance. It can use a mix of clean lined armchairs with turned table legs, a little plaid with a dose of chevron. It can use a little bit French, a little Scandinavian and a little bit Aussie to create a gorgeous comfortable rooms.

Here are some of the rooms which are inspiring me at the moment...
