A fashionable feature on vintage hats

Well I decided that I wanted to expand 'My Design Ethos' beyond my first love of interiors, and include some of my other loves; fashion and art in particular.

As much as I love these topics, I appreciate not all of you will. If you're here just for interiors, please feel free to just ignore me on these occasional posts!

The local races are coming up in a couple of months and I've been starting to think of an outfit. I have always adored vintage fashion, and particularly the classic styles of the 40s and 50s.

First on the agenda is headwear. I'm not a feathery fascinator person I have to admit. I prefer something more structured, more elegant.

My first thought...

My second thought...

And then I turned to something along these lines...

Which would you choose? Are you a hat person?
