To show everyone an example of a moodboard you could win in our giveaway I thought I would a contemporary home office that was feminine without being insipid. I wanted to bring in some purple as well.
The result? What do you think...
Start with hardwood floors and bright white skirting, I added the softest shade of ballet pinky-purple on the walls. I want this colour to be so subtle, it's almost cream.
The rest of the room colours are inspired by vintage scarves which I would frame in acrylic to create affordable and dramatic contemporary art.
A deep purple trellis rug grounds the space, while shades of blue, purple and fuschia bring in some accent tones. Top it off with a touch of brass and you have the perfect feminine office.
