A Classic Room with a Global Twist

My lovely Mum has (finally!) let me loose on her home. She has excellent taste but is very time poor at the moment, and asked me to come up with a plan for her family room downstairs.

Her style is more 'Country', but she felt like this room could be a little more modern. Also, although she doesn't want a 'Tribal' theme, she  has a lot of amazing artefacts from her travels in this room and we still want to incorporate some of them into the room. So, I'm going for a classic room with a bit of a twist!
