Green Headboard (Yes or No?)

So after actually purchasing the green fabric to cover the headboard, I start to have second thoughts (this is typical of me). Maybe I should have gone with navy velvet, or pretty florals, or classic cream (nope, can eliminate cream immediately!). Then I started to veer off wildly...maybe I should use purple and green, not blue, or maybe neutrals, or maybe...

(Funny how much harder it is to design your home!)

So I thought I'd find a few more pictures to remind myself why green was a good idea in the first place, and with the trend for green couches, living rooms are the perfect place to look for a sophisticated use of green!
