Some Tile Flooring Inspiration

Does anyone know how to solve the problem of not being able to post comments at the moment? I can write on some blogs, but not others. And it is becoming beyond frustrating!

On a side note, I learnt to concrete last night! We are working on levelling the slab under the house in preparation for tiling (which we will also do ourselves).

Let's be honest - it's not going to happen. The reality is we will have to buy the cheapest tile we can find because it's such a large area to cover. But I'm hoping to get something light (because of the low ceilings) and something matt (I hate high gloss white tiled floors which are quite common here). But I thought maybe if I can find something light and rectangular we could tile it in a brick pattern like these...

Ok, so realistically it's not going to look as nice as those either. Those tiles probably cost more than my car per square metre. But aim high right?
